Stephanie Lienhard is a painter in Houston, Texas whose primary medium is Acrylic on wood and other found materials. Influenced by Greek, Byzantine, and Mexican religious symbols, she has a strong interest in icons, faces, and portraits.
Her current work is on a series of “virgins” based on iconic images including Mexican Madonnas. In addition to painting, Stephanie is an avid photographer, soap maker, and in general, one who tries to make an ugly space beautiful. She also spent seven years working as a make-up artist in New York City. These days, she is busy teaching art classes to a group of charming young girls — The Art Girls!
Stephanie is married to a jazz musician and software developer named Andrew.
